Since we spend the majority of time going over what our papers and class assignments are supposed to look like, I suppose the first half was pretty informative, and not so engaging. However, I think I am going to get a lot out of the group that I met with. Since we have to keep these groups the whole semester, I really feel like the 5 of us are going to be able to delve into a lot of the stuff we are learning in class. We also make up a very BROAD spectrum of the “church”, and it was refreshing for me to hear where each of them has been walking on their Christian journey. I am looking forward to picking their brains about their denominations, their feelings on the readings, and just generally getting to know other students!
